Encountering St. Josemaria ... Masses in Zaria, Port Harcourt, Ado-Ekiti, Ghana

Masses of St. Josemaria have been celebrated in more than 100 different locations such as Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and also in some neighbouring places like St. Anthony of Padua parish Nungua, Accra Ghana.

From the 18th of June 2016 till date, more than 140 Masses of St. Josemaria have been celebrated in different parts of Nigeria. Following the first ones in Lagos in the Chapels of Lagoon Secondary School and Whitesands School, other Masses have been held in places like Pacelli School for the Blind Lagos, St. Joseph's Cathedral Kaduna, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chaplaincy, CIWA, Port Harcourt, St. Patrick's Cathedral Ado-Ekiti and Our Lady Queen of Peace Church at the Ahmadu Bello University Campus Zaria.

The second Mass at the capital Abuja was celebrated at St. Matthew's Catholic Chaplaincy, Regina Pacis College Garki 2 by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ojeifo, secretary to Cardinal Onaiyekan. In his homily he touched on several aspects of the life and works of the founder of Opus Dei.

At Nsukka, Enugu State, Msgr. George Dine celebrated the feast day Mass at the Cathedral where he encouraged all present to be attentive to St. Josemaria's teaching and example in their search for holiness in daily life.
